Memorial Day Weekend & a Birthday

wishing everyone a very happy kick off to the summer! - and of course to all the brave men and woman who have served our country for us to live with the freedoms we have today! - many thanks and gratitude! 

on this Memorial Day - 27th - i turn another year older - so celebrate with me at your BBQ's and have a glass (or 2) of bubbly! - this girl is gonna rock 33 like no other! - watch out world! - a Gemini with double 3's - GAME ON! 

Natural Life

Natural Life was kind enough to let me review (and keep might i add) these tie-dye pompom loungers - and let me just say - game changers - when i would come home from work i no longer would run to yoga pants and YES even sometimes the PJ's - but these loungers - they are soft (and get softer with every wash - which is major in my books) and you also can go to the market without people giving you the funny look - i think people may actually be a little jealous of em' :o) .. i usually pair them with a white T shirt and my handmade moccasins but i can't wait to wear them down the shore this summer barefoot on the beach or bike cruising - i have a feeling they are going to be my go-to pants! - (and yes i need to place an order for all the rest of the colors before they are sold out) - light weight, ultra comfortable, and pompoms - BTW ON SALE for $21; oh and they come in shorts too!!

Angelina Jolie - BRCA Positive

i just wanna say i am back on the Angelina Jolie train - i dig this chick! - you know why? - she's BRCA positive and she took maters in her own hands and had the double mastectomy - BRAVO *applause* - it takes a lot of courage and strength to go through what she did - and i'm proud a 'celebrity' is coming forth with her story so she can bring light to this genetic mutation and save women's lives! - as you know this is near and dear to me as i'm BRCA positive as well, and like Angelina i plan on getting the preventative double mastectomy and ovaries removed once i have children - to learn more check out my organization i belong to Bright Pink - ladies if your insurance won't pay for it, it will be the best $3000 you will ever spend, especially if you have children!
